Desert Blooms

When there are adequate amounts of rainfall during the fall and winter rainy seasons, the soft browns and muted greens of the Sonoran desert are overlaid with the riotous colors of desert blooms. The wildflower season in the desert peaks between mid March and late April. Cacti blooming generally reaches its apex in April.
